Wealth Insights Hub
Synopsis
#UX/UI, #ContentHeavy, #CMS, #Responsive…
All investors read and research to support their decisions. With zero digital editorial offering, our customers were unable to do that research with us online, forced to go elsewhere – often to our competitors (a risk for the brand).
This project designed & delivered the first online investment insights for the brand, globally. Our design challenge was to review the brand’s offline print editorial content and design a way to use this online with a CMS team to keep it maintained.

The Problem
Little suitable content: content types, detail and approaches to communicate concepts or information were often not suitable for an online experience.
CMS & management: the existing print editorial content team were not equipped for or savvy with online content – part of the challenge was to work closely and build relationships to reach a happy and workable medium.

The Design
Investment research content
Our final UI was well received in…
- user testing and post-launch engagement
- webtrends/product tracking engagement metrics
- and in-turn, by our senior stakeholders.

The Impact – highlights
Elevating our design team
Contribution to product strategy
I ensured design was represented and contributed to the strategy of this new content hub. Part of this was pushing for integration into other relevant product areas – like the stock trading app.
Design played a key part in product definition and evolution – this was not one of those ‘design this and we’re done’ projects
Value of our design team
Established content team & CMS process
Had we not got into the weeds of the offline content and team processes – we would have hit major problems keeping the content fresh & updated – a cardinal sin for any content reliant and engagement platform.
Designing for staff users & new processes
- Dedicated small team trained – regularly consulted with design throughout
- CMS system (AEM) adapted setup – design involved heavily with digital CMS team to ensure designs were feasible and maintainable
